P2000 Bank Select

The procedure for setting up Bank Select in Logic Pro is a little tricky. This pdf explains all about it:

P2000 FX

Picture

The Proteus FX routing is a bit complicated. FX can be setup at the preset level, or globally (with the option of controlling them with a defined MIDI channel). When using the P2000 in Multimode it is difficult to setup a reverb mix. At best only 4 channels can have a separate amount of reverb. Set it up as follows in the Master section:

MIX OUTPUT:
Channel 01A: Send1--> Main
Channel 02A: Send2--> Main
Channel 03A: Send3--> Main
Channel 04A: Send4--> Main

FX Mode: Enabled

FX Multimode Control: Use Master Settings

Master FXA Algorithm: select type as desired

FXA Send Amounts: adjust as required for Channels 1 to 4

P2000 FX part 2

It is possible to control the four reverb levels from Logic (but not from the MIDI Channel Reverb fader). You will need to setup a special mixer in the environment, as shown here. Each fader is assigned to SYSEX. The Sysex string for the Chan 1, FXA fader is shown. The values 05H, and 04H specify it. The values for the faders can be got from the Sysex pages file below (or the Proteus Sysex manual).
